Hello Beloved!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog.  It is an honor to have you here.  My name is Amber LaDawn Horn.  I'm a mom of two little girls, ages barely 4 and almost 7.  I am an artist in many areas and I enjoy being creative.  I think I am my own worst enemy when it comes to just letting go and creating.  I want to be LIKE so many people, but honestly that is kind of a slap in the face to the God who created me AND my creativeness.  Right?!?  So, if you are also struggling to get out of your own way, I can totally relate!

The Lord has brought me a long way.  I used to not even try to create art because I was just "no good."  Now, I haven't discovered an amazing talent that I didn't know I had... but I have come to realize that MY art is not going to look like anyone else's art, and that's a GOOD thing!  A piece of art is an outpouring of my soul, and my love for the God who created me.  I can pour out my love for Him and look at it with satisfaction because I am using the passion and talent that He has given me.  It takes courage to create and share your work.  Its showing a raw piece of yourself, a vulnerable part of yourself.  So, if you have not taken the plunge I encourage you to show off the talents God has given you!  And, please share with me so I can see as well.
